Cleaning a Diesel Fuel Tank is a intricate process that requires specific chemicals, equipment and knowledge to ensure that the fuel tank is cleaned properly. We only use approved degreasers (no residuals) if applicable, utilize specialized equipment similar to a gamajet or butterworth, utilize proper rinsing techniques,  and provide our staff with ongoing training.

Finally, we follow the most stringent guidelines established by the ATA, FAA and numerous other Aviation regulatory bodies.

Drew Fuel Services, performs all fuel filtration and sediment recovery operations at a minimum in the general accordance to General Industry Standards, ANSI/API Standard 2015, “Requirements for Safe Entry and Cleaning of Petroleum Tanks”, ANSI/API Recommended Practice 2016, “Guidelines and Procedures for Entering and Cleaning Petroleum Storage Tanks” and API Publication “Safe Operation of Vacuum Trucks in Petroleum Service”.
